Big and Stunning Update!
First of all, we’ve done a big makeover of our Dashboard . We’ve spent a lot of time the last couple of weeks thinking about how we can make the dashboard more intuitive and more pleasing to the eye. We’ve achieved this by reshuffling some of the elements, by implementing a new template, and by structuring the content display: prepare to be blown away!
Furthermore, we’ve made a change in the display of the chat statistics. You can now see your statistics at the home page of your dashboard, and to improve the overview we’ve split them up into
- The number of messages
- The number of chats and
- The number of transfers
We’ve also extended the features and the customization options of the widget editor :
Firstly, we’ve extended the number of buttons to include German, French, and Spanish texts.
Secondly , you can now test your widget on a designated page, so you can more easily decide whether the design fits your site.
Thirdly , you can now customize the various texts inside your chat widget , for example the “Sorry, we are not online right now”. This way you can tailor the texts to better fit the communication style of your company and website.
We’ve also added a new smoking-hot feature that can be controlled in the dashboard: the widget goals. If you implement Userlike with a specific goal other than just conversing with your visitors, you can now check the effectiveness of your chats. Take, for example, that one of your goals is for your website visitors to register. You add the URL of the registration page as a goal, and when your visitor reaches this URL after your chat, it counts as a goal completion.
Some smaller changes we made include an alteration to the Zendesk integration . Upon request we’ll now offer the option of a default ticket requester . This allows you to push a chat transcript or offline message to your Zendesk without the relevant visitor being notified for it through email.
Also, you’ll be able to sign up for our newsletter ! In this newsletter we’ll keep you updated on feature developments , we’ll give you tips on how to use your live chat system , and we’ll share success stories . You can subscribe for our newsletter upon registering, or at the reserved section in the dashboard.
We hope you’ll love the new dashboard as much as we do!
Truly Yours,
The Userlike Team
